VoteRescue Radio 9/19: Dorothy Fadiman, & "Anonymous" PDF Print
Thursday, 18 September 2008 21:21
Hello from VoteRescue Radio - Where Citizens Count, One Vote at a Time!

This Friday, September 19th, from 6 - 8 pm Central, we enthusiastically welcome four very important guests:  DOROTHY FADIMAN, producer and director of the excellent film on our current election crisis, "Stealing America, Vote by Vote", which will be showing here in Austin, Texas from September 19th through the 25th at the Regal Arbor Cinema at 9828 Great Hills Trail.   Dorothy will be joined by SALLY CASTLEMAN, co-founder of Election Defense Alliance (EDA) who has been working with Dorothy to promote this very important film.

AND:  in our first hour, we welcome what will no doubt be a fascinating interview with "ANONYMOUS",  an election industry insider and author of the recently released book "Cassandra Chanting - an Election Insider's Nightmare" which depicts in page-turning novel form just how easily elections can be stolen given the secret, proprietary nature of the voting machine industry and how the very software that runs our election is shielded from review by the public or even election officials.  "Anonymous" will be joined by BREE BARTON, the 23 year old editor who helped "Anonymous" with this novel, and in the process, became very committed to helping sound the alarm about the dangerous status of elections in our country.

MORE ON "Stealing America..." - OpEd News Election Editor Joan Brunwasser had this to say about "Stealing America:  Vote by Vote":  "...thanks to Fadiman's artful efforts, we can clearly see what was meant to remain hidden...STEALING AMERICA is a reasoned argument, a cry from the heart, and a call to action.  It cannot and should not be ignored."

"Flick Filospher" on "Stealing America:  Vote by Vote":  "...throwing elections is nothing new, a point the film doesn't shy away from making; what is new is the ease with which it is being done, the scale on which it is happening, and the so-far-near-absolute apathy with which it is being greeted by the electorate...any concerned citizen should be outraged."
\
Dorothy Fadiman has been producing media with a focus on social justice and human rights since 1976.  Her film subjects have ranged from progressive education in WHY DO THESE KIDS LOVE SCHOOL? (produced with KTEH-TV) and progressive change for women in some of the least developed villages of India in WOMAN BY WOMAN:  New Hope for the Villages of India (produced with KQED-TV) to a three-film series on reporductive issues and a five-film series on AIDS in Ethiopia including FROM RISK TO ACTION:  Women and HIV/AIDS in Ethiopia.  Dorothy has won more than 50 major awards, including an Emmy  for a 1995 production, and an Oscar nomination for Best Short Subject.

MORE ON "Cassandra Chanting": An Election Insider’s Nightmare":  A dramatic, frightening and enlightening fictional account of a plot to steal the 2008 U.S. presidential election, based on the experiences of an anonymous author who is a bona fide insider in the electoral process. The fast-paced story reveals several ways that voting machine company software engineers can corrupt voting computers, change election results before they are reported, reverse touch-screen votes and avoid detection by paper trails.

The author, who insists on anonymity, has been involved in the election world for some years. He (or she) has come into contact with computer scientists and public officials who have suggested numerous ways to miscount votes. He has worked with people inside and outside or government to solve the problems that so many understand truly exist. He has sought to mobilize Congress to act—to no avail.

BRAD FRIEDMAN…

We look forward to a lively interview with Brad, discussing the Democratic & Republican Convention highlights,  such as the jailing of Amy Goodman and other alternative media; John McCain's unlikely pick for VP:  Alaska  Governor Sarah Palin; what happened to 16,632 votes in Palm Beach County (thanks to Sequoia opscans), where one race for Circuit Court had just 18 votes separating two of the candidates - PLUS:  We'll get the scoop on Velvet Revolution's new campaign, StandingForVoters.org, which is calling upon candidates nationwide to challenge suspicious elections!  Brilliant move!  "If You Want Our Votes, We Want Your Pledge," says New StandingForVoters.org Campaign Launched Today by Velvet Revolution.

Brad is an investigative citizen journalist/blogger, political commentator and broadcaster. He is the Creator and Managing Editor of The BRAD BLOG (http://www.Bradblog.com).

Just some of the many notable national stories he's broken on his blog include "The White House Website Scrubbing", the "Tom Feeney/Clint Curtis/Yang Enterprises Vote-Rigging Scandal", the story of the phony GOP front group, "American Center for Voting Rights", the E-Voting Machine "Sleepover" controversy in San Diego's Busby/Bilbray U.S. House Special Election and his continuing coverage of Electronic Voting Machine companies such as Diebold who are destroying American democracy. He has been reporting on other stories closely related to Election Integrity since at least November 3rd, 2004.

Reports and breaking news from his popular website, The BRAD BLOG, are frequently cited by the national media, and can be read at www.BradBlog.com.  He has appeared in numerous documentary films, as well as on ABC News, CNN, CourtTV and elsewhere to discuss his reporting and expertise on a variety of issues.

Guest co-host Jenny Clark, Karen and I will also be giving the lastest update on our mission to defund electronic voting machines in our own backyard here in Austin, through the Travis County Commissioner's Court, and we'll discuss BEV HARRIS's fantastic new "Tool Kit 2008":  Just in time for citizens to prepare for the November election!

VoteRescue Radio 8/22: Rebroadcast, Steve Heller, Cliff Arnebeck PDF Print
Friday, 22 August 2008 08:52
Hello out there from Radioland - VoteRescue Radio - Where Citizens Count, One Vote at a Time!

Due to host travel, this evening's show, August 22, from 6-8pm CDT, will be a rebroadcast of a fantastic show from July 25th when our guests were STEVE HELLER and CLIFF ARNEBECK!

Though Steve Heller became an election integrity activist after the 2000 election debacle in Florida, he became known to legions of election protection activists as the "Diebold Whistle-blower" in 2004.  While working as a word processor at the Los Angeles office of the law firm representing Diebold in California, Heller saw documents proving Diebold was violating state election laws by knowingly peddling voting machine software that had not received the state certification required by law.

Faced with a difficult moral dilemma -- either say nothing and respect attorney-client privilege, or expose Diebold's criminal acts against clean elections -- Steve chose to protect our elections, and thus our Republic, by copying and releasing the documents to Bev Harris of Black Box Voting, who then got the documents to the press and to California's Secretary of State.  Heller acknowledges that he committed a serious crime in breaking attorney-client privilege.  But what is illegal is not always wrong.

Tune in this evening to hear Steve's compelling story, the third interview in our "whistleblower series" related to electronic voting - and learn what the benefits ~ and consequences ~ were of his courageous act. His case was featured in the documentary "Uncounted: The New Math of American Elections" by David Earnhardt, and the segment on his case has been posted to YouTube.  http://www.uncountedthemovie.com/    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkhXzW32Rrs .  All of the press related to his case can be found here.  http://www.hellerlegaldefensefund.com/

Steve Heller also guest-blogged on July 17th the press conference story which features our other guest on Friday, Cliff Arnebeck.

Columbus attorney Cliff Arnebeck, a national officer in the “Alliance for Democracy”, is the lead attorney for the plaintiffs in the case of King Lincoln Bronzeville v. BlackwellCliff announced on July 17th at a press conference that he is filing a motion to "lift the stay in the case [and] proceed with targeted discovery in order to help protect the integrity of the 2008 election."

This case has the potential to put some of the most powerful people in the country in jail, according to Arnebeck, as he was joined by a well-respected, life-long Republican computer security expert Stephen Spoonamore, who charged that the red flags seen during Ohio's 2004 Presidential Election would have been cause for "a fraud investigation in a bank, but it doesn't when it comes to our vote."

Cliff was also the lead attorney in the 2004 "Moss v. Bush" case which challenged the certified electoral votes for the state of Ohio.

This week's interviews were certainly action-packed and historical!  Be sure and join us!

Thursday, 14 August 2008 09:52
Hello from VoteRescue Radio - Where Citizens Count, One Vote at a Time!

This Friday, August 15th, from 6 - 8 pm CDT, we are proud to welcome as our guest GREG PALAST:  Investigative journalist, author of two international New York Times bestsellers, BBC reporter, filmmaker, and all-around bulldog when it comes to unearthing evidence about stolen elections, purged voter rolls, and other government and globalist fraud!
We will talk with Greg during our first hour about his current investigation on which he's partnering with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to produce a national, prime-time, major-network TV broadcast and a series of radio reports about the massive purging of legal voters in America, leading up to the November election!  Learn what YOU can do to help!

We'll also be interviewing PHIL LINDSEY, founder of Missouri citizens' election integrity group "Show Me the Vote".  Last week, Phil attempted to vote in the Missouri primary and was arrested for not showing a photo ID to the election judges - something found to be unconstitutional in the state of Missouri in 2006!  Phil will tell us his story, as well as the story of how his org collected tens of thousands of signatures for a petition toward the goal of bringing hand-counted paper ballots to the state of Missouri.

CHUCK YOUNG  will also be talking with us Friday.  Chuck is one of the founders of Austin-based "Texans for Accountable Government" (TAG), a recently formed non-profit here in Austin, a continuation of the Ron Paul Revolution.  "TAG" will be having a meeting in Austin on Sunday, August 24th, at which they will hold an election for their Steering Committee (and VoteRescue has been requested to execute the election with - hand-counted paper ballots, of course!)  Chuck will be discussing the meeting, election, goals and mission of TAG.

Fitrakis rose to national prominence during the 2004 U.S. presidential election and related 2004 U.S. election voting controversies by calling the first public hearings on election irregularities in Ohio and by filing a challenge in the Ohio Supreme Court to Ohio's presidential election results in the cases Moss v. Bush and Moss v. Moyer with three other attorneys.

Fitrakis ran for Governor of Ohio in 2006 on the Green Party ticket with his running mate, Anita Rios.

Bob is working with Cliff Arnebeck on the Ohio lawsuit, King Lincoln Bronzeville v. Blackwell, and we'll be discussing updates on that case and its implications for tying in Karl Rove to the election fraud of 2004 in Ohio.

We will also be talking in our first hour with another interesting guest, SHEILA DEAN, about Real IDs - a Congressional mandate for a nationalized ID card with potential to end identity security and privacy as we know it by late 2009.

VoteRescue Radio 8/1: Paddy Shaffer, Virginia Brooks PDF Print
Thursday, 31 July 2008 16:34
Hello from VoteRescue Radio - Where Citizens Count, One Vote at a Time!

This Friday, August 1st, from 6 - 8 pm CDT, we welcome back returning guest PADDY SHAFFER, founder and director of the Ohio Election Justice Campaign (OEJC); and OEJC member VIRGINIA BROOKS, two of eight plaintiffs who have filed suit in Ohio on July 10th against the Ohio Secretary of State's office.  In the case, the OEJC is asking Hon. Judge Algenon Marbley to begin criminal contempt proceedings for the destruction of ballots from the November 2004 election.  The Ohio Election Justice Campaign (OEJC) submitted over 1000 pages of supporting documents.

Paddy Shaffer is an amazing election integritiy activist who, along with her organization, The Ohio Election Justice Campaign, has been holding Ohio's new Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner and her staff  (and Kenneth Blackwell before her) accountable to the citizens on a number of critical election fraud issues there for years.  She has been one of the primary leaders in Ohio attempting to eliminate the use of electronic voting machines there.  Among her many actions, Paddy was in New Hampshire helping Bev Harris and others monitor the Recount of the Republican Primary this past January; in 2006; is a frequent contributor to OpEd News.  Paddy also served as Robert Fitrakis's campaign manager in 2006 during his bid in the Ohio governor's race.

Virginia Brooks  is a member of the Ohio Election Justice Campaign, and another of the eight Pro Se Litigants seeking to intervene in the Federal Election Case titled "King Lincoln et al v. Blackwell (now Brunner).  Virginia is from Ashland County, Ohio and is the State Chair of the Reform Party of Ohio.  This group is affiliated with the New Frontier Coalition, for which she serves as a steering committee member, and which was founded to support any third-party candidate, veterans group, seniors, etc. as long as they stand for the Constitution of the United States of America and agree to return this country to a Constitutional and representative Government

In the case before Judge Marbley, King Lincoln, et al. v. Brunner, et al., the judge had issued specific orders directing Ohio's 88 county boards of election to preserve all ballots from the election until a decision was rendered in the case.  At least 56 county boards assert they have destroyed some ballots from 2004; seven counties assert they have destroyed all ballots.  This citizen-initiated action is pro se litigation in which the plaintiffs act as theier own attorneys.

We are excited to have Paddy and Virginia coming on the show to explain the details of this courageous lawsuit action.

Guest Co-hosting this Friday will be my friend and book partner, Abbe Waldman DeLozier!
